Volunteers

The club is always in need of volunteers. Remember all our instructors, van staff, van drivers, etc, are volunteers. Any little bit you can do to help will go along way.

Driving The Van

Can you help drive the van? We need people to drive the van to and from training on a Sunday mornings. All that is required to drive the van is a normal manual license. The van is such an important part of making our club run smoothly and the club desperately needs your help to bring down the van before classes or take it back after classes on a Sunday. If there are two of you coming down, you could really help by driving the van down or driving it back from its resting place in Warwick. With a roster, once every four or five weeks is all that is needed.

We have a roster of people to help with the van. If you train with a friend, family member, partner who can drop you off and transport your dog for you, you can probably help. Remember, we are a club and rely on volunteers. If you can help, please email volunteers@nasdkjfhorthernsuburbsdogclub.org.

Stewarding

We are always looking for stewards for our trails. You will be told what you need to do on the day by an instructor or competition judge.

Instructing

Both agility and obedience instructors are always needed – and it is very satisfying to help other members with their dogs. Handlers in class 2A and above are invited to become obedience instructors. Trainee instructors are assigned an experienced instructor to guide them through training.

Please contact volunteers@northernsuburbsdogclub.org or any club instructor if you can help in any of these areas.
