NOTICE OF SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING
A Special General Meeting of members of Northern Suburbs Training and Obedience Dog Club is to be held as follows
To be held at Carine Open Space Clubrooms, Beach Road Carine
On Tuesday 25 February 2025 at 7:00pm, prior to the start of the club’s AGM
Only those with a current paid up membership, club volunteers and committee members are eligible to attend.
SPECIAL RESOLUTION
The committee resolved on 11 February 2025 that a Special Meeting be called regarding a Special Resolution to amend Section 16.1 of the club’s Constitution and Domestic Regulations, pertaining to the minimum numbers required on the committee.

New Day and Time for Tricks and DWD
Tricks and DWD class is now being held on Fridays at 5:30pm. Classes commence on January 17th.

Competition starts at 8am. Please be at the grounds early to collect your competitor number. Check in will be open from 7.15am.
The use of food rewards is allowed in the ring.

Application for 2023 Titles Due Now
Reminder to send in your applications for titles achieved in 2023. Each title will get you a medallion. You must attach qualification cards.

Notice of Motion for Special Resolution
‘‘Notice of Motion for Special Resolution (1)
Wednesday 23rd August 2023 6.45pm to be held on the lower oval at Carine Open Space
Proposal to change the payment structure for agility at Northern Suburbs Training and Obedience Dog club Inc (henceforth to be referred to as the club)
Commencing on the first agility term of 2024, a general member of the club will need to register and purchase a place in one of the agility classes each term to allow participation in agility, either based on the previous term, or for selected new members of the club.
This fee will accompany a completed form each term for:
a/ those members who want to continue to train at the club or
b/ those new members who have been assessed and accepted into the foundations class 1.
The club will be able to use the additional revenue to buy new agility equipment and for the upkeep of the present equipment and trailers.
The benefit of this change of fee structure is that the club will be getting the commitment from the members to register and attend the agility classes, so that there is consistency of training. It also allows the numbers and structure of each class to remain constant and the safety for members, instructors and dogs to be maintained.’’
The projected fee per term (which is not included in the Special Resolution) will be $20 per term.
Members Competition and Achievement Trial enrollments Open
Puppies will start at 9am as normal. There will be no other classes held today.
The Members Competition will commence at 8am. This is for Junior Classes 1A-2B.

9th July Rally competition has been cancelled
Due to judge cancellation the Rally competition has been cancelled. Obedience competition will still go ahead.

Memberships reopening on 1st of June
We will be reopening memberships for dogs older than 16 weeks on the 1st of June.
